Our Product

HoistHR

A multi-tenant HR platform we designed, built, and run in production — and the clearest evidence of how we work.

Why it matters here

We do not just advise on systems like this. We operate one.

HoistHR is a hiring and onboarding platform used by real companies to run interviews, track candidates, and take new hires through onboarding. We built it end to end and we keep it running — which means the trade-offs we discuss with clients are ones we have already had to live with.

What building it involved

The parts that are hard to fake

Multi-tenant architecture

Per-customer databases with tenant isolation enforced at the data layer, not by convention. Provisioning, migrations, and backups across every tenant.

Enterprise single sign-on

Per-tenant OIDC with DNS-verified domains, enforced sign-in, breakglass access, and a two-person rule on trust changes.

Approval workflows

Multi-step change requests with routing rules, escalation, separation of duties, and an audit trail that reconstructs how a record reached its current state.

Compliance groundwork

Immutable audit logging, access reviews, retention rules, and role-based permissions built for the questions a security review actually asks.

Background processing

Scheduled jobs and an outbox pattern for work that must happen reliably whether or not anyone is watching.

Integrations

Identity providers, payment processing, email delivery, and document signing wired into one coherent flow.

What this means for your project

Judgement earned by shipping

Running a product in production teaches things a project alone does not: what breaks at 2am, which shortcuts cost you later, and how much of a system's real cost arrives after launch. That is the experience we bring to client work.
